Here is the simple version. Unfortunatelydirectly Floor Coating takes your request and routes it to an independent provider in our network. The line is answered Mon-Fri 9am-9pm ET. After that, the provider is the one you talk to about your floor.

The provider looks at the job, gives advice, and writes the quote. Unfortunatelydirectly Floor Coating stays out of the work itself.

What might the provider ask you?

Expect a few easy questions. They help the provider understand the slab before anyone visits.

• Is it a garage, basement, porch, or workshop?
• About how big is the floor?
• Do you see cracks, flaking, stains, or dusty spots?
• Does water ever pool or seep in?
• Was the floor coated or sealed before?

Photos can help. So can a note about how you use the space.

What should you ask the provider?

You are allowed to ask plenty. Try these:

• How will you prep the concrete, and why?
• What product do you suggest, and how does it handle salt and moisture?
• How long before I can walk on it and park on it?
• What care does the floor need afterward?
• Is the quote in writing, and what does it list?
• Do you hold the licenses and insurance required locally?

Good providers like these questions. Vague answers are worth noticing.

Whose decision is it?

Yours. Getting an estimate does not lock you in. Compare, take your time, and say yes only when the plan feels clear. If you also have other projects, such as hardwood flooring installation inside the house, mention it. The provider can tell you whether it is something they handle.
